Starbury One = 1/2 Tuk Tuk Thai Meal

Stephon Marbury is probably my least favorite Knick player of all time proportionate to his talent -- but I like the idea of his $15 sneaker enough to pick up a pair if I ever get out to Ontario, CA, which is the only place the Starbury One is available around here.

At $15, it'll be half the price of my most disappointing meal in recent memory, from Tuk Tuk Thai Restaurant. Tuk Tuk has been voted best Thai restaurant on citysearch L.A., but they provided a very blah meal (and, as Woody Allen would add, the portions were so small!). featuring dry duck, somewhat thrifty portions, but a pretty good coconut flan. The menu was interesting-looking (e.g. dumplings in green curry) -- but none of the dishes were very good (the dumplings were bland as heck). My soju mojito was only alright, but it did have a nice little slice of fresh sugar cane in it.

On monkey toes with fresh sugar cane: in my experience, that's a scam. It doesn't make a good monkey toe any better, and it certainly doesn't save a bad monkey toe. It's a nice bonus, to be sure, but rather than focusing on the bonus, they should be focusing on the main feature itself.
